Marc E. Christopher
“Every client as a life story uniquely their own. Only by understanding this story can I create an effective means of achieving justice in an, all too often, unjust world.” – Marc Christopher, Attorney, Christopher Law Office
Advocacy and public service—those traits have defined the career of Marc Christopher. Marc grew up in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin where, thanks to his family, developed an appreciation for world history and, with it, a deep-rooted sense of justice. Studying at the United Nations fostered a furthered appreciation and understanding of foreign cultures and ideas. Marc also studied European Union Law at Nantes University in Nantes, France. Marc graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison and with honors from Drake University Law School. He has served as Chief of Staff in the Wisconsin Assembly, Public Policy Advocate for environmental organizations, and as an Assistant District Attorney. He has testified before the US House of Representatives, California Legislature and the Wisconsin Legislature on matters of criminal justice, environmental policy and open government. He is also the veteran of scores of criminal and civil trials.
For over 5 years, Marc was a college instructor teaching in the areas of State and Local government and criminal law.
It is his experience in advocacy, coupled with a passion for justice and equality that makes Marc an effective representative for his clients. As a husband and father, he also empathizes with those families looking to rejoin each other in the United States and begin their American dream.
In his spare time, Marc enjoys running, reading, watching the sport of boxing with his wife, and being a dad.

- KAREN MUÑOZ
“My goal is to help as many other immigrants as myself to achieve their American dream through guidance, knowledge, and empathy” Karen Muñoz, Paralegal, The Christopher Law Office
Karen Muñoz joined Christopher Law Office in 2011 and is a paralegal who works in the areas of immigration and criminal law. Karen was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, a small state in the center of the country known as “the heart of Mexico.” Karen’s family immigrated to the United States when she was only six years old. As many immigrant families, her family struggled to find the American dream. She did not become aware of these struggles until she was in high school. In high school, Karen wanted to work and study abroad like many of her friends in high school but was not able to do so because she did not have legal status in the United States. One major disadvantage Karen encountered because of her non-legal status was her inability to use any of the college scholarships she earned for working so hard in her studies while in high school. She also was not able to acquire any student loan assistance due to her non-legal status in the United States.
However, with motivation, determination and after multiple struggles and life changing experiences, Karen was able to graduate college and work her way through the legal immigration process to become a United Stated Citizen. She graduated college and hopes to fulfill her American dream of graduating from law school so she can work in the legal area of immigration. She is fluent in both oral and written Spanish. Karen is a wife, mother, and a hard-working paralegal in our office. Her personal story, not to mention her hard work ethic and wonderful personality and skills, are of great benefit to all of our clients and the Christopher Law Office.
